PEANUT BUTTER ROUND - UPS 
1 c. shortening, softened
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 c. Skippy peanut butter
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. oats (quick or old-fashioned, uncracked)

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Bake 12 minutes.

Cream shortening and sugars. Add eggs and beat well. Blend in peanut butter. Then add flour, salt and soda; stir in mixture, then add oats and stir well. Roll dough in small balls and bake on ungreased cookie sheets. With tines of fork, press to make crisscrosses on each.
