PEANUT BUTTER CRISSCROSSES 
1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Dash of salt
2 beaten eggs
1 c. peanut butter
3 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking soda

Thoroughly cream shortening, sugars. Add vanilla. Add eggs; beat thoroughly. Stir into creamed mixture. Form into tiny balls; place on ungreased cookie sheet, press with back of a fork to make crisscross. Dough may also be rolled and cut if desired. Bake in moderate oven (375 degrees) for 10 minutes. Makes 8 dozen cookies.
