MAPLE SYRUP 
2 c. sugar
1 c. water
2 tsp. maple flavoring
2 drips butter flavoring
Dash of salt

Bring water to boil, remove from burner and add sugar, maple and butter flavorings and salt. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Syrup is ready to use. Do not boil mixture after sugar is added as the sugar will crystalize after it stands.
