PECAN ROLLS 
1 c. cream
1/2 c. white syrup
3 c. sugar

Cook to soft ball stage. Remove from heat and add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat until creamy. Pour onto damp cloth. Knead like cookie dough. Shape into two rolls.

CARAMEL ICING:

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. cream

Bring to good boil. While this is boiling, brown 1/2 cup sugar and mix with above. Cook to soft ball stage. Remove from heat and add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and 2 tablespoons butter. Beat until creamy. Spread on rolls and place pecan halves on top of icing.
