BARBECUED HAMBURGERS 
1 lb. ground beef
2 slices dry bread, crumbled
Salt and pepper
1 tbsp. grated onion
Little water to moisten

SAUCE;
1 c. chili sauce
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c. water

Make hamburger patties by mixing meat, crumbs, salt, pepper, onion and about 2 tablespoons water. Shape into patties. Mix sauce ingredients in a frying pan. Put meat patties into sauce raw and simmer 45 minutes. Serve on buns. (Makes 5 to 6 patties.)
