FRIENDSHIP CAKE 
3 eggs
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. orange flavoring
1 tsp. black walnut or butternut flavoring
1 c. oil
3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. flaked coconut
1 c. chopped dates
1 1/2 c. brandied fruit from starter

Beat together eggs, sugar, vanilla, orange, and butternut flavoring and oil. Stir together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Add 1/4 cup flour mixture to the coconut and dates. Add flour mixture to egg mixture; stir in coconut mixture and reserved fruit from fruit starter' mix well. The batter will be stiff; if it is too stiff to work, add more fruit or juice from starter.

Put into a greased and floured large tube or bundt pan. Bake in a preheated 325 degree oven an hour and 15 minutes or until cake tests done. Let cool in pan 15 minutes before removing.

CREAM - CHEESE FROSTING:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 stick butter
1 lb. box confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix well and spread on cake.
