LASAGNE 
1 lb. hamburger
1 clove garlic
1 tbsp. whole basil
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 (10 oz.) pkg. lasagne noodles
3 c. fresh Ricotta or cream style cheese
1/2 c. grated Romano cheese
2 tbsp. parsley flakes
1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, sliced thin

Brown meat; spoon off fat. Add garlic, basil, salt, tomatoes, tomato paste, and 1 cup water. Simmer for 15 minutes. Cook noodles and rinse. Beat eggs; add Ricotta and Romano cheeses, parsley, salt, and pepper. Layer half the noodles in baking dish; spread with the Ricotta filling; add half the Mozzarella cheese and half the meat sauce. Repeat. Bake at 375 degrees about 30 minutes. Serves 8 to 10.
