BUTTERSCOTCH TEA COOKIES 
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour

Mix; spread in 9-inch square pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.

Beat 2 eggs; add: 1/2 tsp. salt 3 tbsp. flour 1 c. chopped nuts 1 tsp. vanilla

Spread over first layer and bake 20 minutes more. Cool. Cut in squares.
