THE "GOOD SHEPHERDS" PIE 
3 lb. ground beef
Lg. chopped onion
1 (10 oz.) can whole kernel corn
3/4 c. cheddar cheese
3-4 c. mashed potatoes
Salt and pepper to taste
1 pkg. brown gravy mix
1 tsp. cumin or chili powder
1 tsp. garlic powder

Brown ground beef, drain well; add onion continue simmering. Stir in gravy mix and garlic powder, cumin (or chili powder), Worcestershire sauce, corn and salt and pepper to taste. Spread in a deep baking dish or pan. Cover with about 3/4 cup cheddar cheese cubed or shredded and poke down into the mixture. Top with mashed potatoes. Dot with butter and bake uncovered at 350 degrees until top is crispy about 20 minutes.
