BIG AL'S SPECIAL CHOCOLATE CHIP
COOKIES
 
3/4 c. butter flavor Crisco
1 1/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
2 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. pecans pieces (optional)

Combine butter flavor Crisco, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl. Beat at medium speed on electric mixer until creamy, beat egg into creamy mixture. Combine flour, salt and baking soda and mix into creamed mixture until just blended. Stir in chocolate chips and pecan pieces. Drop round tablespoons 3 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.

Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. For crisp cookie - 11 to 13 minutes. Cool. Makes 3 dozen 3 inch cookies.
