BANANA TEA BREAD | |
1 3/4 c. sifted flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. dried apricots, diced 1/3 c. shortening 2/3 c. sugar 2 eggs 1 c. mashed bananas 1/2 c. chopped nuts Mix shortening until smooth. Add sugar, eggs, bananas, nuts, apricots and vanilla. Sift together remaining dry ingredients; mix well with egg mixture. Bake in loaf pan for 1 hour at 350 degrees. |
