POTATO CHEESE BAKE 
2 lbs. frozen hash browns (shoestring, not cubed style)
1/2 stick butter, melted
1/2 tsp. salt
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 c. sour cream
2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated/shredded
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. onion, chopped (optional)
Seasoned croutons, crushed

Spread frozen potatoes in 13 x 9 inch casserole dish and let thaw. Mix remaining ingredients. Pour over potatoes. Top with buttered, crushed croutons. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serves 6 to 8.
