HONEY OVEN-FRIED CHICKEN | |
1 lg. or 2 sm. chickens, cut into pieces 1 1/2 c. honey 1/1 2 c. fine cracker crumbs 3/4 c. flour 1 1/2 tsp. dried basil 1 tsp. dried thyme 1 tsp. dried rosemary 1 1/2 tbsp. dried parsley Salt and pepper to taste Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a 9x13 inch baking pan with foil. Pour in vegetable oil to 1/8 to 1/4 inch depth. Pour honey into flat dish. Combine crumbs, flour, herbs and spices in large bowl. Dip chicken pieces into honey, then roll in crumb mixture. Arrange chicken pieces skin side up in prepared pan. Bake 45-55 minutes. |
