MISSOURI COOKIES 
2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. quick oats
1/2 c. milk
1/4 lb. butter
1/2 c. peanut butter

In a heavy saucepan, mix the sugar, milk, cocoa, and butter. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil for 30 seconds and remove from heat. Add the vanilla, peanut butter and quick oats. Mix thoroughly, then drop by teaspoonsful on waxed paper. Refrigerate and the cookies will "set" like fudge.
