FATHER CHARLIE'S GRANOLA 
1/2 c. safflower oil (or any other good vegetable oil)
1 c. honey
9 c. rolled oats (old fashioned style)
1 c. wheat germ (not roasted)
3/4 c. chopped almonds
3/4 c. pumpkin seeds (chopped)
3/4 c. sunflower seeds
3/4 c. sesame seeds
1 c. raisins
3/4 c. chopped dates
1 c. flaked coconut
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. almond extract
1/2 tsp. maple extract
4 tbsp. brown sugar

Combine all liquid ingredients and brown sugar together in a pan and heat until boiling.

Mix the dry ingredients together. Slowly add the liquid ingredients stirring WELL each time liquid is added until all the liquid is added and the dry ingredients are coated with the warm liquid.

Spread in rectangular cake pan about 1 inch deep and bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes until lightly brown.

For the most nutritious Granola, it should not be too brown.
