BEEF BRISKET IN BEER 
3-4 lbs. beef brisket
1 onion
1 garlic clove, crushed
1/4 c. chili sauce
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 (12 oz.) can beer

Season brisket and place in 13x9 inch pan. Combine chili, sugar, garlic, and beer. Pour over meat. Cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 3 1/2 hours. Uncover and bake 30 minutes longer, basting with sauce. Remove meat. Trim fat from meat. Add 2 tablespoons flour to 1 cup water and mix well. Add to pan drippings to make gravy.
