1 c. cornmeal 1 c. flour 1 tbsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 2 to 4 tbsp. sugar (optional) 1 egg 1 c. milk 1/4 c. oil Mix cornmeal, flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Set aside. Beat egg. Add milk. Add oil. Add to cornmeal mixture; stir just enough to mix. Grease pan and fill half full. Bake at 425°F until lightly browned, 20 to 25 minutes. |
