TOASTADA BAKE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
6 c. corn chips, coarsely crushed (10 oz.)
4 or 5 sliced American cheese
2 c. shredded lettuce
Taco sauce

In a skillet cook ground beef until browned, drain off fat. Stir in garlic salt. Place corn chips in an 8 x 8 x 2 inch baking dish or a 8 x 8 1/2 inch round baking dish. Spoon hot meat over corn chips; top with cheese slices. Bake, uncovered, in 350 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted. Sprinkle casserole with shredded lettuce, spoon on taco sauce. Makes 4 to 6 servings.

HOMEMADE TACO SAUCE:

16 oz. can stewed tomatoes, undrained
1 tsp. sugar
3/4 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. bottled hot pepper sauce
1/8 tsp. pepper
