NO PASTRY APPLE PIE | |
4 c. apples, approx. 6-8 apples, peeled, cored & sliced 3 tbsp. lemon juice 1 pkg. Knox gelatin 1/2 tsp. Diet Lite Sweetener 1 1/2 c. water 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 8 tbsp. non-fat powdered milk Place apple slices in a 9" square baking pan. Mix lemon juice, gelatin, Diet Lite Sweetener and water; stir well. Pour over apples. Mix skim milk powder, cinnamon and nutmeg. Sprinkle over apple slices. Bake 1 hour at moderate heat (approximately 350 degrees). Chill and cut into 16 equal servings. Makes 16 servings, each serving equals 1/2 fruit serving and daily powdered milk allowance. May be baked in 9" pie plate or 8"x8" square baking pan also. |
