NICOLE'S FAVORITE APPLE PIE 
Crisco pastry for 2 crust pie
6 lg. cooking apples
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. butter

Line a 9 inch plate with pastry. Pare core and slice apples. Place in pastry shell. Combine sugar, flour and cinnamon. Sprinkle over apples. Dot with butter. Place top crust over apples. Cut slits for steam to escape. Seal edges. Bake at 400 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until apples are tender and crust is golden brown.
