OLD-FASHIONED POUND CAKE 
4 sticks butter
3 c. sugar
4 c. cake flour
1 c. sweet milk
6 eggs
2 tbsp. lemon flavor

Cream sugar and butter, add sweet milk and then add flour, one cup at a time. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat until creamy and add the lemon flavor. Pour into well-greased and floured tube pan and bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350 degrees or until done.
