CHOCOLATE - CHOCOLATE CHIP
COOKIES
 
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 1/2 c. oatmeal
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
12 oz. chocolate chips
4 oz. Hershey bar, melted
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Cream butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. In separate bowl mix flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder and soda. Mix creamed and dry ingredients together. Add chocolate chips, Hershey bar and nuts.

Place dough, shaped in golf ball size on ungreased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart. Makes 5-6 dozen. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes. Note: Do not overbake! Cookies do not look done when you take them out of oven.
