PINEAPPLE SWEET & SOUR SAUCE 
1 lg. can pineapple
2 1/2 c. pineapple juice
1 can mandarin oranges
1/4 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. + 2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 carrot, thinly sliced
Cherries (opt.)

THICKENING MIX:

1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. water

Mix everything except thickening. Cook on medium low at least 1 hour. Add thickening. You can add 1 bottle (1 quart) apricots instead of the pineapple juice. This is excellent over meat balls and served over rice.
