NEVER FAIL DUMPLINGS 
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
1 c. flour
2 tbsp. cornstarch

Beat egg; add milk, then dry ingredients. You may need to add a little more flour to make a stiff dough. Drop by spoonfuls into stew, etc. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes, covered.
