GOOEY BUTTER CAKE 
1 yellow cake mix
1 egg
1/2 c. melted butter
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

FILLING:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 box powdered sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Blend cake mix, butter and egg. Spread in 13x9 inch greased pan. Cover with chopped nuts.

Combine cream cheese, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Beat with electric mixer. Pour over cake mixture. Cover with chopped nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
