1/2 c. water 1 stick butter 1 c. flour 4 eggs Over medium heat bring water and butter to a boil. Add flour all at one time and stir vigorously until mixture forms a ball and pulls away from side or pan. Remove pan from heat and set aside to cool for about 10 minutes. Begin adding eggs, one at a time, mixing completely before adding another egg. Once all eggs have been added, spoon mixture by the tablespoon onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in preheated oven at 425 degrees for 15 minutes then reduce heat to 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool on wire rack in a warm place free from draft. To fill, slice in half and hollow out inside. Fill with fresh fruit, custard or ice cream. |
