ANGIE'S EASTER BREAD OR CAKES | |
1/2 lb. Crisco 1/2 stick butter 1 c. milk 2 1/2 tbsp. baking powder 2 1/2 c. sugar 6 eggs 1 (1 oz.) bottle lemon extract 2 1/2 lbs. flour In a large bowl melt Crisco with butter, add sugar, milk, lemon extract, and baking powder. Slightly beat eggs. Mix all together, now add 2 1/2 pounds flour or little more. Mix with hands like bread. Roll into large twist or "e" or circle. Frost with confectioners' sugar and lemon extract. |
