1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. crunchy peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Stir sugar and egg together until well mixed. Blend peanut butter into mixture well; add vanilla. Drop on greased cookie sheet. Press each with fork. Bake at 300 degrees for 15 minutes. Do not overbake! Cookies do not look done at 15 minutes, but get very hard if cooked any longer.
