BANANA BREAD 
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. Grape-Nuts
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1 c. mashed bananas
1 egg, well beaten
2 tbsp. shortening, melted or 2 tbsp. cooking oil

Measure and mix all dry ingredients. Add bananas and liquid ingredients, including egg, one at a time. Bake at 350 degrees about 1 hour, or until toothpick comes clean. Makes one loaf in a 9x5x3 inch pan. Be sure to grease pan.
