CHERRY CHEESECAKE | |
3 pkgs. ladyfingers (not filled) 1 pt. heavy cream 11 oz. of cream cheese (1 -8 oz., 1 - 3 oz.) 3/4 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1 can cherry pie filling (blueberry, pineapple, etc.) 1. Soften cream cheese in bowl with 1/2 cup sugar, blend well. 2. Whip pint of cream, 1/4 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla until it peaks in a second bowl. 3. Combine the ingredients of both bowls, mix well. 4. Line the sides and bottom of a spring form with ladyfingers. Put in half the cheese mixture. 5. Put down another layer of lady fingers - then rest of cheese mixture. 6. Cover top with cherries. Refrigerate at least 12 hours. |
