CHEESEBURGER CHOWDER 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/4 c. chopped onion
3 tbsp. chopped green pepper (optional)
3 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. milk
1 tbsp. beef-flavor gravy base
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

In large skillet, brown beef. Drain. Add vegetables. Cook until tender. Blend in flour and salt. Add milk and gravy base. Cook and stir over low heat until bubbly. Add cheese, cook and stir just until cheese melts. 4 to 6 servings.
