OATMEAL PUDDING COOKIES 
1 1/4 c. unsifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. butter, softened
1/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
1 pkg. (4 serving size) Jello brand vanilla flavor instant pudding
2 eggs
3 1/2 quick cooking rolled oats
1 c. raisins (optional)

Mix flour with baking soda. Combine butter, both sugars and pudding mix in large mixer bowl; beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture; then stir in oats and raisins. (Batter will be stiff). Drop by rounded measuring teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets, about 2 inches apart. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
