3 c. sugar
1 c. milk
1 stick butter
1 egg
Vanilla

Beat egg; add milk, butter, and 2 1/2 cups sugar. Brown 1/2 cup sugar in iron skillet; add other ingredients. Cook over medium heat until forms soft ball in cold water.
