BACON & CORN CHOWDER | |
1/2 lb. bacon (cut into sm. pieces) 2 med. onions, diced 1 c. water 2 c. finely chopped potatoes 1/2 c. chopped celery 2 cans cream style corn 1 can milk 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper Fry bacon until crisp; drain, reserving about 1/4 cup drippings. Saute onions in drippings about 5 minutes. Add water, celery and potatoes. Cover and cook over low heat until done. Blend in corn, bacon and milk. Heat until hot and bubbly. |
