MARION'S SPECIAL SALAD 
1 c. water
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. cider vinegar
2 c. seedless green grapes, halved
2 med. apples, cored & chopped
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. chopped celery

In small saucepan, mix sugar with cornstarch. Blend in 1 cup water and vinegar. Cook, stirring until boiling and thickened. Transfer to small bowl, cover and refrigerate until chilled. In large bowl toss remaining ingredients with prepared dressing. 4 servings.
