FROSTY SALAD SURPRISE 
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon flour
1/2 c. dark corn syrup -or- maple syrup
1/3 c. lemon juice
1 egg, beaten
1 can (2 1/2 c.) pineapple tidbits, drained
1/3 c. maraschino cherries, halved
1 c. seedless white grapes, drained
24 marshmallows, cut up
1 c. heavy cream, whipped

Combine sugar, flour and syrup - bring to boil. Cook 1 minute. Stir constantly. Gradually stir lemon juice into egg - then stir in small amount of hot mixture and return to remaining hot mixture. Bring just to boil, stir constantly.

Remove from heat and cool. Stir in fruit, marshmallows - fold in whipped cream.

Pour into refrigerated trays and freeze firm - about 6 hours.

Serves 8-10 or more.
