OATMEAL SCOTCHIES 
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 c. oats, uncooked (quick or old fashioned)
1 (12 oz.) pkg. or 2 c. Nestle's Toll House butterscotch morsels

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Set aside. In a large bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in oats and Nestle's Toll House butterscotch morsels. Drop by level tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 7 to 8 minutes for chewy cookies, or 9 to 10 minutes for crispier cookies.
