2 tbsp. butter, softened
4 slices bread or biscuits
4 slices American cheese

Spread softened butter on one side of each slice of bread or biscuit. Put buttered side down on baking sheet. Put slice of cheese on each bread or biscuit. Put hot dog diagonally across bread or biscuit.

Turn oven to 375 degrees. It will start to get hot. Fold over 2 opposite corners of the bread or biscuit over each hot dog. Push 2 wooden picks through the bread and into the hot dog to keep the corners around it. Put baking sheet in oven. Bake until bottoms are golden brown. This takes about 10 minutes. Makes 4 sandwiches.
