CHICKEN SALAD | |
6 whole chicken breasts, cooked and cut into bite size pieces 2 c. celery, chopped 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas 2 tbsp. lemon juice 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. curry powder 1/2 tsp. salt 2 c. mayonnaise 1 c. sliced almonds 2 med. cans chow mein noodles Cook chicken breasts and debone. Add chopped celery. Mix lemon juice, garlic powder and curry powder, salt and mayonnaise. Pour over cut up chicken and mix well. Refrigerate overnight. Add frozen peas, 2 to 3 hours before serving. Just before serving, stir in almonds and noodles. |
