2 c. cake flour, sifted 3 times
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. buttermilk
2 squares bitter melted chocolate
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. vinegar

Mix together sugar and butter. Add 1 egg and beat. Add another egg and beat 2 minutes. Add vanilla. Add flour and salt with buttermilk, making 4 additions of milk and 3 of flour. Add melted chocolate. Lastly, dissolve soda in vinegar and add to batter. Bake at 350 degrees.
