CHILI PEANUT BUTTER BARS 
1/3 c. shortening
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 c. self-rising flour
1 1/3 c. coconut

Cream together shortening, peanut butter, both sugars, until fluffy and light. Add vanilla and eggs. Beat well. Add flour; mix well. Stir in coconut. Spread into a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees about 25 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool. Cut into squares.
