MICROWAVE BREAD PUDDING 
4 c. bread cubes (5 slices)
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 c. butter
1 tbsp. vanilla

Melt butter in milk in 1 quart container. Stir in eggs, salt, sugar and vanilla. Mix well. Put bread cubes in 8-inch round dish. Pour milk mixture over bread cubes. Microwave on high for 9-12 minutes. Serve warm or chilled.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
