MICROWAVE APPLE CRISP 
6 c. peeled, diced cooking apples (Jonathan or McIntosh)
2/3 c. oatmeal
1/3 c. flour
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. butter

Layer apples in an 8 x 8 inch microwave-safe baking dish. Mix dry ingredients. Cut butter through dry mixture and then sprinkle over apples. Microwave on high for 12-14 minutes or until tender.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
