BOLOGNA SANDWICH
Buy some ham or bologna (one pack) and some bread (one loaf) and buy a little jar of mustard. Then you make yourself a bologna sandwich. Put the bread down on the table, put the bologna on it. Spread the mustard on the bologna. Put another piece of bread on the bologna, then eat it with some milk. Then clean up.

Lydia Rose, Olive and butter are best friends forever. Mayo has gotten silly... Mayo added olive oil... yah! It is better for you but not so in tasting. It is not the same-same. SoCal almost 72 degrees.

Dbl. Decker Smashed bologna sandwich. Take one slice of bread and top with 1 slice of bologna. Add some mayo and mustard. Put one slice of tomato, pickles and lettuce on Bologna. Place second slice of bread and repeat layer. Top with third slice of bread. Now this is how you smash it. You go to your big brothers room and say something to make him mad. He will shove you and make you mad! So you take that double decker and smash it into his face. All ends well. He loved the taste. We made two doubles and had a big glass of cold milk with lots of giggles. This is a true story. Happened to me in 1976. I'm now 53 yrs. young. I love each and every bologna story on this site. Brings back wonderful memories. Thank You so much!

A southern thing, you can melt some butter, (add garlic powder if desired), in a frying pan and brown the already made sandwich on both sides. I do like to put American cheese on my sandwiches and it comes out great!

If you live in my neck of the woods, we use only Weber's Mustard (it has horseradish in it) nothing better on earth than a bologna sandwich on fresh italian bread with Weber's. (Buffalo, NY) Maybe a glass of loganberry to wash it down...

The sandwich would be really great if you put mayo instead of mustard and add a layer of vanilla wafers.

When pregnant with my first son, 46 years ago, I ate so many fried baloney sammiches I can't stomach one now. But we fried the baloney, swimming in bacon grease, with a slice of commodity (or gubment as they say in AR) cheese on top. Sometimes we'd spoon the hot grease on top to melt the cheese better. This fried concoction went between two slices of white bread. No condiments needed. We had the bacon grease. All I craved to eat at the time. If y'all can find some of that gubment cheese, this will be the bestest sammich yet.

This is so hilarious! My father was a big fan of bologna but as a child I disliked it and still do.. So for lunch my mom would make me a "mock chicken" sandwich. So listen up everyone: place two slices of white bread on table and butter one side each slice and 2 slices of mock chicken (no rind to remove) and cover with second slice of bread. Can also be toasted. Serve with chicken noodle soup and dip sandwich in soup one bite at a time. Don't forget the baby dill pickles and a can of diet Pepsi! Voila.. the best -almost- bologna sandwich ever!!!!! LOL
