JALAPENO CORN BREAD 
1 c. yellow cornmeal
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs, beaten
1 can cream style corn
3/4 c. milk
1/4 c. salad oil
1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 c. finely chopped Jalapeno peppers

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a 9 x 9 inch baking pan. In a large bowl combine cornmeal, salt and baking powder. In medium bowl with fork, beat together eggs, corn, milk and oil. Pour all at once into dry ingredients. Mix well. Pour 1/2 of batter into prepared pan. Sprinkle with cheese and peppers. Top with remaining batter. Bake 35 to 40 minutes until golden.
