APPLE CINNAMON MUFFINS 
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. nonfat dry milk
1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/2 c. water
1 c. (1 med.) peeled, chopped apple
1/4 c. melted butter

TOPPING:

1/3 c. chopped nuts
1/4 c. brown sugar

Combine flour, dry milk, sugar, baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and salt in bowl. Beat egg with water. Stir in butter and apple. Add all at once to flour mixture; stir just until moistened.

Fill 12 muffin cups 2/3 full. Combine nuts, brown sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Sprinkle over muffins. Bake 375 for 20 minutes.
