CHOCOLATE CUPCAKES 
2 squares chocolate
1/2 c. water
1 c. sugar (scant)
1 tbsp. butter, heaping
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
Pinch salt
1/2 c. sour milk (1 tsp. vinegar to 1/2 c. milk)
1 tsp. baking soda in milk

Melt chocolate and water; cool. Cream the sugar and butter. Add egg and vanilla. Mix cooled chocolate mixture into creamed mixture. Add flour and milk alternately until thoroughly mixed.

FROSTING: Melt twice as much butter as cocoa. Add powdered sugar and cream to spreading consistency. NOTE: After 50 years of cooking, this is the best and easiest recipe and so good.
