ALL STAR WHITE BREAD 
2 pkg. dry yeast
1/4 c. warm water
1 c. milk
1 c. water
3 tbsp. butter
5 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
6 1/2 c. white flour

Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water. Warm milk, 1 cup water and butter. Pour into large mixing bowl. Add sugar and salt. Mix well. Add yeast (if the milk mixture is hot, allow it to cool before adding yeast). Add flour slowly, stirring constantly. Knead dough for 10 minutes. Set aside in a greased bowl in a warm place. Turn dough so that all sides are greased. Cover bowl with a damp cloth. Let rise about 1 1/2 hours or until double in bulk. Punch down and knead for several minutes.

Shape into 3 loaves and place in greased loaf pans. Allow to rise until double in bulk. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and continue baking for 35-45 minutes or until golden brown.
