WILD RICE CASSEROLE | |
2 lbs. ground round 1 c. onion, chopped 1 c. celery, chopped 1 c. pepper, chopped 1 sm. bottle mushrooms 1 c. wild rice 2 cans cream of mushroom soup 1 can chicken rice soup Saute chopped vegetables. Add meat and saute together. Add 1 bottle of mushrooms. Rinse wild rice with boiling water 5 times. Boil wild rice for 15 minutes with quite a bit of salt. Drain and rinse with cold water; cool. Put it together with the meat and vegetables in casserole. Add the 2 cans of mushroom soup and the 1 can chicken rice soup. Bake at 300 degrees for 2 hours. |
