BLONDIES 
1/2 c. butter
2 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
2 c. self-rising flour
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans

Combine butter and sugar in a medium mixing bowl; beat in eggs and vanilla. Gradually add flour, mixing well. Stir in pecans. Pour into a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool and cut into bars. Yield: about 2 1/2 dozen bars.
